I'm an experienced portrait photographer and retoucher based in north San Diego, CA.
I have a passion for creating colorful clear images that will get you noticed and take your career to the next level. In the studio, I use Capture One to display your images on a big screen TV as they happen.
It has long been my goal to grow as a retoucher as well as an excellent photographer. My years of study in Photoshop have brought me to a place where the editing looks natural and not artificial.
I learned photography on a Yasica D camera in high school, in the years before digital photography. I also got my start in a darkroom developing and printing film. Having this background gives me a deeper understanding of composition and proper exposure.
These days I shoot with a Sony Alpha mirrorless camera and Godox flash gear.
I do my RAW conversion in Capture One Pro, and often use Photoshop for skin retouching.
My home has always been in San Diego and I grew up in North County. I had a chance to live in Philadelphia for 10 years. When the opportunity arose for me to come back home, I took it! My pastimes are music and riding motorcycles.
